COVID-19 VACCINATION
We at Family Centered Medicine recommend the COVID-19 vaccination.  


TESTING:
FCM will provide COVID-19 tests in office as long as they are available.


SYMPTOMS:

  • Sore throat for 2-3 days
  • Fever of 100.4 degrees or greater
  • Shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing
  • Body aches
  • Dry cough


OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • If you have a runny nose and sputum, you most likely have a common cold.
  • COVID-19 is a dry cough with no runny nose.
  • If someone sneezes, it can go up to 10 feet before dropping to the ground.
  • The virus can live on a metal surface for 12 hours.
  • The virus can live on fabric 6-12 hours.  Normal laundry detergents will kill it.
  • Wash your hands frequently.  The virus can live on your hands 5-10 minutes.
  • Avoid touching your eyes/face.
  • Stay well hydrated.  Drink a lot of water.  Avoid ice water.
